ABOUT THE NERVOUS CENTER
The Nervous Center is a pitiful, twisted coffee/juice bar in Chicago, which
has made the unfortunate business decision to explore and expose the variety
of music that is often overlooked by a money/hits- driven recording industry,
while creating an environment in which home
recorders and intuitive musicians can interact.
Tuesday nights are the Nervous Center's home-recording showcase, featuring
music recorded in the bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, garages and attics
of our patrons.
We just released EXPECTATION SABOTAGE 1 (a sample is available FREE for
download) a 73 minute 18 "song"CD featuring 11 bands that submitted
music to our home-recording showcase.
