an introduction to obsession
obsession is undeniable. its a viscous disease that seeps into practicality. killing it. removing it. and what you see before you, and what you will see in the future is what it leaves in practicalities place. obsession would best describe what transmissiontwentythree is, and what will take it into its next form. its a collection ov music and art. a meeting place, a killing jar. galleries ov literature and information. a safe haven, a testbed. michael and myself stand in the middle, but we welcome you to join us. you may send us art, you may post in our forums, you may host your sites with us. your suggestions are the lifeblood ov this experiment in selfdestruction. food for thought. the redefinition ov sights unseen. we started off on a single machine. a single interface. we tried to overcome the dullness the chicagoland 'elite' scene had brought upon itself. after slaving over dry ascii menus. single node access. we looked into developing our own client/server architecture. to offer users eyecandy. laced with arsenic. after weighing the possibilities, we took transmission2wenty3hree offline. that was some time ago. we've been molding this site for the last year or so. and it still crawls along in its infancy. its a hungry child. we have made moves to consolidate the vast wealth ov information that stands outside the mainline. interface has recently migrated to our server. andy and his staff put together one ov the best magazines in its circle. with wonderful interviews, and perfect layout. they are an incredible addition to our site. first step ov many. this site changes drastically and spasmatically, so please do come back when you have the chance, its very likely you won't recognise us. we are as always looking to host likeminded sites. please continue to send your kind words and check back often.
