scorn : logghi barogghi
out of, 2:04 min, 244k, real audio 3.
mick harris latest release is a dark eerie trance, industrial journey. with logghi barogghi, mick harris
continues to focus on minimilism, even more so than on previous albums such as gyral. the majority
of songs are composed of several drum loops, with slow droning bass, ambient noise tracks, and
at times you can here the return of mick harris's vocals. at times even experimenting with the pauses and
rests within the songs to add even more to the complexity. mick harris masterly crafted this album to create
a very dark, complex, and addictive album.

tear garden : to be an angel blind, the crippled soul divide
in search of my rose, 1:33 min, 457k, real audio 3.
this is the fifth tear garden release and the first release since "sheila liked the rodeo" in
1993, composed of members from legendary pink dots and skinny puppy they always manage to make
wonderful music. this album is a amazingly mellow album as the skinny puppy/cevin key influences
fad, resulting in an album that sounds much more like a legendary pink dots album. most of the
album carries the mood of previous album "the last man to fly", much more so than "shiela liked the rodeo", but
in a much more minimalistic and haunting form.
seclusion : yukigafuru (1 to 4) some fine legacy minimalistic. beautiful. a journey through change. a soft reverberating drone, after a time being joined by voice. only to revert to its emptiness (its beauty). very soft, with light chimes. thus is the first track of this wonderful disc. the second track is similar to the first, starting off with what appears to be coloured and layered voices, and later taking on the familiar shape ov the initial track. very similar to early vidna obmana works. this cd looks and sounds perfectly incredible. white digipack with photo insert (candle from above) and interesting cover art by christoph heemann (h.n.a.s.). another interesting note, heemann's first name is misspelled 'chrstoph' in the lower left hand corner.

faith and disease: fortune his sleeps ivy records 1994 lilith, 59 secs, 286k, realaudio 3. the opening track "healing anne" from _fortune his sleep_ perfectly blend synthesizers, daren rossenwasers beautiful airy vocals, with bass, guitar and percussion producing a dreamy yet powerful and flowing sound that goes through many differant dynamics of energy. faith and disease produce a wide of range of song styles, from minimilistic composed of only vocals and sweeping synths, to the very complex and layered sound of "healing anne" and "like lilith", all the while mantaining a common flow throughout the entire album. they even do cover the cure's "all cats are grey" which is nicely done but no one can do the cure quite like the cure {well except for dinosaur jr.} _fortune his sleep_ has been in my collection for many months now and is still seems to be constantly spinning away in my cd player.
